Does your resin thicken and become stringy quickly? Here are some possible causes of resin contamination and thickening and some tips on how to fix them! Keep reading!
Promote the conservation of the resin!
Resin doesn’t like humidity and heat. Whether it’s traditional resin or UV resin, keep your bottles in the fridge and take them out about 30 minutes before starting your day. This will prolong the life of your resins, and particularly that of the UV resin.
Contamination by powder or hardener is another cause. Be sure to wipe off your resin brush thoroughly after each application to a clean spot on your bib or on a pad. If you use the hardener brush, avoid that your resin brush comes into too much contact with the hardener.
Take care of your bottles!
At the end of your day, clean the neck of your bottles well to avoid having dried resin sticking on your brush. When your brush is contaminated, do not throw it away: clean it!
By following these few tips, you will be able to keep your resins well and for longer! In addition, you will also need to use professional manicure sets to care for your nails. If you don’t have nail tools, you can visit our nail supply store.
